Steered and driven: Planetary front axles

The distinctive features of MAN’s planetary front axles are their extreme load-bearing capacity, favourable weight, high degree of effectivity and great ground clearance. They are especially suited for all-wheel-drive vehicles, either as simple drive axles or as drive-through axles for front axle tandems. Together with the MAN AP rear axles, both with and without drive-through, they can be used to build for example 8x8 all-wheel-drive vehicles.
