Steered or rigid and non-driven
The leading and trailing axles are either steered, rigid or liftable and single- or twin-tyred. Vehicles with steered trailing axle convince through their optimum manoeuvrability and easy handling at high payloads. The steered leading axle is the right choice when high support loads on the drive axle are required. A further advantage of the tow steered axles is the lower tyre wear. Centre axles for articulated buses round off the programme range.
